However, that wasn’t to be as it failed to get a censor certificate on time, leaving her financially strained.
Actress Kangana Ranaut sells a prime three-storey bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra, Mumbai for Rs 32 crore. She bought the bungalow in 2017 for Rs 20.7 crore. The sale was due to the financial problems she was facing after the film Emergency was delayed. This is Ranaut’s first investment property in the city and comes with a 565 sq ft parking garage.

One of the reasons why Kangana sells her Mumbai property is because she wasn’t certified on time for Emergency. She says she was putting her personal savings into the making of this film, which turned to leave her in a precarious financial situation when the film was rescheduled for release. Kangana Ranaut sells her Mumbai property to Kamalini Holdings at Rs 1.04 lakh per square foot. The sale was registered on September 5. The stamp duty of Rs 1.92 crore was paid by the buyer. This is an independent access part of a cooperative society. In an interview, Ranaut opened up as to the financial burden caused by the delay to such an extent that forced Kangana Ranaut for selling her property in Mumbai.
The film faced legal challenges and opposition from Sikh organisations. However, Ranaut remains committed to its release. The delay and trouble in getting the Emergency movie released have only added to the pressures on the actress. However, Kangana Ranaut sells her property in Mumbai to get ahead with her ambitious project. She has promised fans that the date of release will soon be announced.
