A class 10 student found hanging from the ceiling of her room in Sonarpur, located in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. She kills herself after someone her AI-generated nude images gone viral on social media.
The girl, who staying at her maternal uncle’s house, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on Thursday night, according to a police officer.

“We have received a complaint alleging that a married man from the area has been harassing her,” he noted. Her family members claimed in the complaint that the man collected her photographs and used AI tools to create nude images, that then posted online.

“The family also accused members of the man’s family of joining in the harassment. They have called for strict legal action against everyone involved,” he added. The reports show that the teenager may have taken her own life due to ongoing mental distress from the harassment and online abuse, the Bengal police officer said.
