The IPL 2025 final is ready to be host in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) announced on Tuesday, May 20. Apart from the final, Ahmedabad can even host Qualifier 2 of the match. The BCI took its selection maintaining the inclement weather in mind at Eden Gardens. It set to host two of the playoff matches, includes the final. The other matches set to be hosted in Hyderabad, moved out of the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium and given to Mullanpur.
IPL 2025 finals on 3 June in Ahmedabad
The BCCI hinted that the playoff matches moved out of the venues. They did not mention the venues for the playoff matches whilst saying the revised schedule. However, It stated at the time that the matches moved out of Kolkata due to climate conditions.
Since the restart of Indian Premier League, already one match abandoned because of rain. The match among Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders washed out on Saturday, May 17, and defending champions getting knocked out of the match.
This third Indian premier league final hosted on the Narendra Modi Stadium in the final four years. The venue has hosted the 2022 and 2023 finals and now might be site hosting the 2025 one. The 2023 final at the venue hosted for over 48 overs, after rain occur on the first day. CSK had lifted the trophy that year in interesting contest against Gujarat Titans.

- 29-May-25 (Thu) – 7:30 PM: Qualifier 1 (Mullanpur)
- 30-May-25 (Fri) – 7:30 PM: Eliminator (Mullanpur)
- 01-Jun-25 (Sun) – 7:30 PM: Qualifier 2 (Ahmedabad)
- 03-Jun-25 (Tue) – 7:30 PM: Final (Ahmedabad)
