Neeraj Chopra Qualifies in First Throw
The minimum mark for the final qualification was 84.50 metres. Neeraj Chopra secured his spot in the final with a throw of 84.85 metres on his first attempt. Nadeem qualified with a throw of 86.40 metres on his last attempt. Also, the world’s number one athlete, Julian Weber from Germany, threw 87.21 metres. Anderson Peters from Grenada threw 89.53 metres, David Wagner from Poland threw 85.67 metres, and Julius Yego from Kenya threw 85.96 metres.
