HDFC Bank shares rise to 2.2% on BSE, hit fresh record high in Q4FY25 results

HDFC Bank shares price hit a fresh record high on Monday, April 21, 2025, as India’s biggest private sector bank post margin growth and an development in asset excellent in March 2025 sector (Q4FY25) results.

Emkay Global on HDFC Bank shares

Emkay Global has extended HDFC Bank shares price target to ₹2,200 per share (from ₹2,100 per share) as the bank’s management state it hopes to maintain margins around modern stages in the financial year 2025-26 (FY26), driven by enhancing portfolio mix towards retail/SME, decrease share of borrowings, and substitution of high-cost e-HDFCL borrowings with deposits.

 “This, coupled with endured lower loan-loss provisions (LLP) and opex control, is probable to assist the bank supply 1.8-1.9 per cent return on asset (RoA) over FY26-28E.
