Bill Gates, the founder and chairman of the Gates Foundation, will visit Andhra Pradesh on Monday to discuss closer collaboration with the state government in health, education, agriculture, and artificial intelligence.
Bill Gates held IT talks in Andhra Pradesh
According to official sources, Gates will have detailed talks with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and IT Minister Nara Lokesh about enhancing current projects with the foundation’s support.
Gates set to arrive at the state secretariat in Amaravati around 10 am. He later go to the Real Time Governance System (RTGS) Centre to see how technology is used in governance. Naidu will explain the state’s real-time monitoring framework and its outcomes.
Focus on “Swarna Andhra 2047” vision
CM Naidu will also present the state’s “Swarna Andhra 2047” vision, that focuses on reforms in public health, agriculture, and education. He will also discuss initiatives in med-tech, diagnostic services, and the Sanjeevani digital health program.
A detailed demonstration of Sanjeevani that run in partnership with the Gates Foundation, is also on the agenda.
After the secretariat meetings, Bill Gates and his team will visit an agricultural center near Undavalli village to observe farming practices that use drones and AI technologies.
