Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today described the Ayushman Card as an extra layer of security that provides free and fair treatment in medical colleges, district hospitals, community health centers, primary health centers, and Health and Wellness Centres across the state.
Yogi Adityanath opens HealthTech Conclave 1.0 in UP
The CM opened the UP HealthTech Conclave 1.0 in Lucknow. In his speech, he said that Ayushman Golden Cards given to 5.5 crore families in Uttar Pradesh. This allows these families to receive free medical treatment up to 5 lakh rupees each. Families not covered by the central scheme are helped through theMukyamantri Jan ArogyaYojana.
Emphasize healthcare needs in UP
Yogi Adityanath emphasized the progress in the health sector. He said that Uttar Pradesh is not only a state with a population of 25 crore, but it has also become the largest center in the country for meeting healthcare needs at both national and regional levels. The government committed to turning Uttar Pradesh into a national and global hub for medical technology, healthcare innovation, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
