Samsung Electronics New Zealand announces the upcoming release of the Galaxy Ring, A new wearable device that arrive in the country on 2 April. Galaxy Ring will be available for purchase from Samsung’s website and selected retailers for NZD $699. This small wearable aims to give continuous wellness monitoring in design aim for everyday use
The head of Mobile Product Management at Samsung New Zealand, Jason Hong show enthusiasm for the product’s release. It state that, “Health and wellbeing are a priority for many Kiwis and we are excited to introduce the Galaxy Ring to support their wellness journey. It is designed for everyday wear and delivers powerful health insights in a discreet and comfortable form.
Galaxy Ring wearable Features
Jason Hong highlights the features and shows that “With AI-powered features and seamless integration with Samsung Health, users can access to data driven and personalized insights to help them to stay on top of health easily.”
Galaxy Ring is designed to give personalised health data by integration with Samsung Health. It gives insights such as “Energy Score” and advanced sleep analytics to inform users about their physical status. This device also gives “Wellness Tips” that give motivational messages throughout the day. These functionalities are said to be tightly integrated into a cohesive platform in the Samsung Health application.
Available in three colors
The Galaxy Ring device comes in three different colors, Titanium Silver, Titanium Black, and Titanium Gold. It is available in 11 different sizes, range from size 5 to 15. This range is based on US standard ring sizes
It requires an Android smartphone with version 11.0 or above and at least 1.5GB of memory. It require the use of the Galaxy Wearable app, and Samsung Health app (v6.27 or above), and a Samsung account login for full functionality.
