Bihar will receive another Amrit Bharat Express train to Delhi. This new service run between Chhapra and Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT). It will be the sixth Amrit Bharat train connecting Bihar to the national capital. The inaugural trip will take place on Sunday, September 29.
The Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) train will travel via Gorakhpur. It will cover a distance of 952 km in about 21 hours.
6th Amrit Bharat Express launch on 29 September in delhi
The Chhapra-Delhi train will operate as train numbers 15133/15134 and will run twice a week. However, on Sunday, September 29, it will operate as a special service under train number 05133.
This new Amrit Bharat train will stop at 19 stations during its journey between Chhapra and Anand Vihar Terminal. The stops will include Siwan, Thawe, Tamkuhi Road, Padrauna, Captanganj Junction, Gorakhpur Junction, Khalilabad, Basti, Babhnan, Mankapur Junction, Gonda Junction, Barabanki, Malhaur, Badshahnagar, Aishbagh, Manaknagar, Kanpur Central, Etawa, and Chipyana Buzurg.
Commercial operations start soon
The national transporter has not announced when commercial operations will begin. In an official statement, the railways said that the date and timings for regular service will be shared later.
On Sunday, September 29, during its inaugural run, the Chhapra-Anand Vihar Terminal leave Chhapra at 11:00 hrs and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 08:00 hrs the next day.
The Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express train will consist of 22 coaches. The breakdown of the coaches is as follows: LWSCNPP-8, LWSPP-11, LSLRDPP-2, LWCBPP-1.
