Recently, the Job Minister of Canada request Air Canada and its flight attendants to resume the flights operations after strike. Patty Hazdu weighed an order by the Canadian union of public employees’ (CUPE), which deferred an order by the Canada Industrial Relations Board, which was considered the strike as “illegal”.

Meanwhile, the airline said that all flights of Air Canada and Air Canada Roose will suspended through 4 pm. On the Eastern Tuesday, its strike proceedings continue as members of the union.
“It’s not too late to get a deal,” Hazdu said in a video statement posted to X late Monday night. “In fact, the company and the union can sit today and move together, and consequently the best deal will be.”
Union says that ‘no limit’ to take action
CUPE national president Mark Hancock said before reporters on Monday that they are “no limits” as to what they will try to do and get a good deal for members.
Those comments came out a few minutes after a time limit prescribed by the Canada Industrial Relations Board to explain that he was canceling his Air Canada strike announcement and to return to work for members. “There is no limit, we are going to be strong,” Hancock said. “We are going to be committed to ensure that the workers can do what they like to do.
“If this means that people like me are going to jail, it should be the same. If this means that our Sangh is fined, then it should be done.” The Sangh has argued that the strike continues, to resolve outstanding issues, Air Canada is required to pressurize the bargaining table, including allegations that flight attendants are forced to do unpaid work while performing duties on the ground before and after fight.
