Air India will run 50 flights to and from West Asia today due to increased travel demand. Air India and Air India Express operate these flights, with 26 scheduled and 24 non-scheduled, according to a statement from Air India on Tuesday.
“Air India and Air India Express together operate a total of 50 flights to and from the West Asia,” the statement said. The ongoing conflict in the region, involving the US, Israel, and Iran, has affected flight operations.
Key highlights of Air India flights for today
- Scheduled flights: Jeddah (14 flights) and Muscat (12 flights) are operational.
- Ad-hoc flights: Mainly to and from Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah (UAE), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). It is operated by Air India Express from cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai, and Mangalore.
There are no scheduled or ad-hoc operations to Dubai, Al Ain, Salalah, Dammam, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, or Tel Aviv today.
All Air India flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia, and other regions will continue as planned.
