IndiGo airlines request passengers to be patient
The airline confirmed it will offer full waivers on cancellations and reschedule requests for bookings made until December 15. The refund process and luggage sorting are progressing quickly, the airline mentioned. “We are working around the clock to return to normal service. Please be patient,” IndiGo said in its latest status update today.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has taken swift action to manage the disruptions caused by IndiGo’s operational issues and to ensure passengers do not continue to face problems, officials said.

Passenger Refunds and Rescheduling Support
To provide financial protection for passengers, the ministry issued strict guidelines to IndiGo. All refunds for canceled or severely delayed flights completed by 8 PM today.
So far, IndiGo has processed refunds totaling Rs 610 crore. No extra fees allowed for rescheduling travel affected by cancellations. Special support teams have established to assist passengers, so refund and rebooking problems are handled without delay or trouble.
