The Vande Bharat Train are known for their speed, comfort, and premium travel experience. However, even the newest trains can have unexpected issues. During the inaugural run of Bihar’s Vande Bharat, a video showed several people without tickets crowding the train, acting as if it was a regular service. The clip shows other passengers and onlookers asking the ticketless travelers to get off before the gates closed.
It’s unclear whether these individuals just wanted to see the new train or were trying to travel without paying. The incident sparked debate online. One user pointed out that in Bihar, people often take trains without tickets because many villages have unofficial or illegal railway stops. They suggested that if this habit continues, some might start traveling without paying on planes too.
Ticketless Passengers Crowd Bihar’s Vande Bharat Train
The video posted on X had the caption, “Breaking news from Bihar: Ticketless geniuses waltzed into Bihar’s first Vande Bharat. This was totally expected in a state where many villages have their own illegal railway stations. If it was possible, they would travel ticketless on planes too.”
In reaction to the post, one user commented, “This is the fault of your socialism that even after 75 years of independence, they could not read where this train was going or whether it stops at their destination. But yes, it’s expected that some people (with vested interests) will blame the public for the failure of their double engine sarkaar.”
How passengers react?
Another user shared, “Lack of understanding and making an issue of every single thing. Those innocent people just went to see the train. Railway management needs to judge them; why are you all judging here?”
“Bihar is not for beginners,” read one comment. An individual said, “The reality of Bihar is much worse. This is just a small example of what that state is.”
Another mentioned, “If there is a train for the rich, then there should be a train for the poor too, which guarantees confirmed tickets and travel with dignity. Don’t criminalize them just because you are rich and feel entitled.”
