Recently, in Toronto shooting, 1 killed and 5 others injured. Shooting occurs in Toronto’s Lawrence Heights neighborhood. Toronto Police and paramedics answered reports of gunfire near Flemington and Zachary Roads, close to Ranee Avenue and Allen Road, rapidly after 8.30 pm on Tuesday.
1 Killed in Toronto shooting and 5 Admitted to Hospital
One person was dead on the scene, while 5 others rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds described as life-threatening. “1 male showed decreased. Five people with gunshot wounds take to the hospital,” Toronto Police said.
Police have not released information about any suspects. A instructions post established near Ranee Avenue and Flemington Road as a part of the continued investigation.
Toronto Mayor in Worry
Reacting to the incident, Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said she currently “disturbed by news of the Toronto shooting in the Lawrence Heights area this nighttime.” In a post on X, she said that her office was in contact with Toronto Police and Deputy Mayor Mike Colle.
“I want to thank the first responders, Toronto Police, Fire and Paramedic Services on your work on a busy and challenging scene,” Chow said, including that police had been working to offer a solution quickly.
