110 Indian Students land safely in Delhi from Iran, But Reported Poor Bus Condition

Indian Students studying in Iran have thanked the Indian government for evacuating them from the struggle-torn country. They express displeasure over the buses that the Jammu and Kashmir authorities given to them to return back home from Delhi.

The office of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said it has “be aware” of the request of the students and is coordinating with the J & K State Road Transport Corporation to ensure “proper deluxe buses” for them.

110 Indian Students Reach to Delhi from Iran Under Op Sindhu

A group of 110 students — all from Urmia Medical University in Iran, landed in Delhi early this morning under India’s ‘Operation Sindhu’. The institution was evacuated from Iran, transited through Armenia and Doha, and boarded a flight to Delhi last night.

“It was a hard journey for us. There were a number of attacks, in Tehran,” Ali, a student who landed in Delhi said. He said a missile landed near their bus after they have been travelling. “We had been very scared,” he said.

Israel-Iran Conflict

The Israel-Iran struggle also affects the Indian Students who study in Iran. The war started hen the Israeli army began “Operation Rising Lion” last Friday and attacked Iranian towns. It said it had concluded Tehran was at the verge of developing a nuclear weapon.

More than 250 peoples, includes over 220 in Iran, had been killed in cross-border strikes. PM Benjamin Netanyahu late Wednesday said they started the marketing campaign to do away with existential threats to Israel – the nuclear risk and the ballistic missile risks. He also said that the Israeli military now “controls the skies over Tehran”.

“We are striking the Ayatollahs’ regime with super force. We are attacking nuclear installations, missiles, command centres and the symbols of the regime,” Mr Netanyahu said.
