Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the State Government aims to make Andhra Pradesh the top destination for investments in the country, following the principle of Speed of Doing Business. A day before the Global CII Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, the CM took part in several programs.
It includes 15 meetings from morning until late at night. During these gatherings, he interacted with investors and held one-on-one discussions with representatives from Taiwan and Italy. He explained the opportunities in various sectors across the State.
CII Summit 2025: Andhra Pradesh Inks ₹3.65 Lakh Crore MoUs
He informed them about the sector priorities and the investment-friendly environment created in different regions, along with improvements in connectivity and logistics. The CM encouraged the ambassadors of Taiwan and Italy to motivate their industrial groups to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
35 MoU signed
Several companies came forward with solid proposals and signed 35 MoUs in one day in the presence of the Chief Minister. These agreements represent ₹3.65 lakh crore in potential investments and aim to create 1.26 lakh jobs, even before the official start of the Investment Summit. Among the investors was ReNew Power, which had previously left the State due to unfriendly policies under the previous government.
Over the two-day CII Summit 2025, total investments are expected to reach about ₹10 lakh crore. The government expressed satisfaction that investments worth ₹3.65 lakh crore have already been secured ahead of the summit.
