Liverpool Diogo Jota has died in a car crash in Spain, per a police report. Jota, 28, has been travelling in the car with his brother Andre, 26, also a footballer. The car went off the road, per the reporting by Portugal’s public broadcaster, TVE.
The tragedy comes just two weeks after Jota married his long-term girl friend Rute Cardoso in Porto, in his native Portugal.

“It doesn’t make sense. We had been only just in the team together. “To your family, your spouse, and your children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world. I know you’ll usually be with them.
“There are no words on this. “I will never forget you with your smile, as a great partner on and off the field.
“I send all my strength to his family, from in which he’s I’m sure he will continually be with you, particularly his wife and 3 childrens. “May he rest in peace. Diogo and Andre.”

“Just in a state of shock,” Carragher said to Sky Sports News. “Not with each person related to Liverpool, however, football is standard. It is one of the few cases whilst the soccer family all come together.
“I can’t believe Diogo Jota death. For each person involved, but specifically his own family – his wife and the kids they’ve got- it’s devastating for all involved. “I can only believe how his teammates’ experiences at Liverpool and Portugal, they are in a world of pain along with his friends and family.
