Elon Musk’s political group can keep awarding $1 million to voters until Election Day

Elon Musk's political group

A Pennsylvania judge has allowed Elon Musk’s political group, America PAC, to continue its $1 million voter giveaway in key swing states after facing legal challenges. The plan that promised voters $1 million by signing up as the “voice of the voice” of the group was against what some claimed was an illegal lottery, with voter turnout manipulation.

Critics have also complained about how winners are chosen within Elon Musk’s political action group. A court hearing on Monday drew that out and showed why so much attention has increased scrutiny over whether it is even legal as the program seems to give money out selectively rather than strictly through a lottery-type drawing.

Further question by prosecutors was to point towards a video clip by Musk where he is speaking regarding how the winners of that fundraiser would serve as spokespeople for America PAC and so, further controversy surrounds its approach to the rules surrounding a campaign.

Elon Musk’s political group to choose winners until Election Day

Judge Angelo Foglietta greenlit Elon Musk’s political group after the court hearing but isn’t immediately saying why. Sources show that America PAC had chosen the winner of the ultimate, and in this situation, the one who is a registered voter in Michigan. This day’s winner was said to be a man who is identified as Joshua in Arizona. This is according to Elon Musk, who communicates through X, formerly known as Twitter. America PAC also reminded its followers one voter will win each day from then up to Election Day.

“Every day until Election Day, a person who signs will be selected to earn $1m as a spokesperson for America PAC.” the group added.

Critics, among Pennsylvania officials, say the program’s design will violate election laws that forbid direct payments to voters as an incentive for registration or participation. Elon Musk’s political action committee has also been criticized further for targeting swing states in which Republican candidate Donald Trump is running closely against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Meanwhile, amidst a legal battle that is far from over, Musk appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, where Rogan endorsed Trump, claiming the opinions of Musk influenced him. While America PAC continues its high-stakes giveaway, the focus of the campaign will remain both legally and publicly focused on how it navigates boundaries in this heated election season.
