US President Trump thanked India and its largest privately held energy company, Reliance. He thanked for supporting historic investment to build the first new Oil Refinery in the US in 50 years. He announced the project, said that the refinery built in Brownsville, Texas, as part of a USD 300 billion deal aim to boost American energy production and strengthen economic ties with international partners.
Trump announce first USA Oil Refinery in 50 years
However, it was not immediately clear if Trump meant that the refinery was part of a larger agreement with India.
“Thank you to our partners in India and their largest privately held energy company, Reliance, for this big investment,” Trump said.
He described the initiative as a significant milestone for the country’s energy sector. He note that it will first new US oil refinery in fifty years. “America is returning to real energy dominance,” Trump declared. “Today I proud to announce that America First Refining is opening the first new U.S. oil refinery in 50 years in Brownsville, Texas.”
Marks as biggest $300 billion deal
He referred to the initiative as “a historic $300 billion deal, the biggest in US history,” and added that it create thousands of jobs and drive economic growth in South Texas.
Trump attributed the attraction of large-scale investment into the US energy sector to his administration’s policies. “It is because of our America First agenda, streamlining permits, and reduces taxes that we attracts billions of dollars in deals coming back to our country,” he wrote.
The US president emphasized that the project would generate thousands of jobs and bring much-needed economic development to the region. “It power global exports and bring thousands of overdue jobs and growth to a region that deserves it,” Trump said.
