India alleged PAK over Khwaja Asif's 'open confession' statement on Pahalgam Attack

India has voiced strong objections to the United Nations about a Pakistani minister’s remarks on trained and fund terrorists. This comes in the wake of increasing tensions between the two countries after Pahalgam Attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

At the release of the Victims of Terrorism Association Network in New York, India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Yojna Patel, described India as a “victim of go-border terrorism” and referenced Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Asif’s ‘open confession’ about Pakistan’s records of assisting terrorist group.

What Khwaja Asif confess about Pahalgam Attack

“The complete world has heard Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Asif admitting and confessing Pakistan’s history of helping, trained and funds terror group. This open confession surprises nobody and exposes Pakistan as a rogue country, fuelling global terrorism and destabilizing the location.

After the Pahalgam terror attack, Khwaja Asif became wondered by using a Sky News journalist about Pakistan’s involvement in helping terrorist agencies. “We been doing this dirty painting for the United States for the past 3 many years, along with the West and the UK,” Asif said back.

UN Security Council denounces Deadly attack

Last week, the UN Security Council strongly condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack, stressing the need to deliver the organizers and sponsors of the act to justice. “The members of the Security Council underlined the need to keep perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of this reprehensible act of terrorism responsible and produce them to justice,” the declaration said.

 In response to the Pahalgam attack, India implemented numerous diplomatic and security features, along with postponing the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty, preventing overland exchange through the Integrated Check Post at Attari, and suspending the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme for Pakistani citizens, requiring those already in India to leave in 40 hours.
