Iran’s Revolutionary Guards commander Hossein Salami killed in an Israeli air strike. It codenamed Operation Rising Lion, early Friday (13 June), as per Iranian media reports. Several other senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders and nuclear scientists killed in Israeli strikes in Tehran and other provinces across Iran.
Iranian state TV outlet IRIB confirmed that Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, commander of the imperative headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, also killed in attacks. Veteran nuclear scientists Mohammad-Mehdi Tehranchi and Fereydoon Abbasi martyred in another attacks, Iranian country-owned Press TV said.
Operation Rising Lion Initiates after attacks
The attacks were first occurs around 3.00 a.m. local time on Friday in the Iranian capital, Tehran, was accompanied by a sequence of explosions in several different provinces throughout the US.
In an announcement after the strikes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the operation was released to “pay returned” the Iranian risk to Israel’s survival. “Moments in the past, Israel launched Operation “Rising Lion,” a centered navy operation to return back the Iranian risk to Israel’s very survival. This operation will keep for as many days as it takes to eliminate this risk,” Netanyahu said.
Iran Chief Warns Israel
Meanwhile, Iranian Chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that Israel for starting Operation Rising Lion. Khamenei condemned the targeted airstrikes on Iran’s military and nuclear sites and vowed Tehran’s high retaliation against Israel. “In the early hours of today, the Zionist regime another time found out its evil and bloodstained hand by committing a legal offense on our beloved soil, in addition to exposing its malicious nature through attacks on residential areas.
