When he arrived, the crowd chanted slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai,’ ‘Vande Mataram,’ and ‘Modi Modi,’ and waved the flags of the US and India. He expresses his appreciation for the warm welcome. PM Modi post on X and said, “A warm reception in the winter chill. Amid cold weather, the Indian community welcomed me with special reception. My gratitude to them, he posts.”
It highlights Modi’s first trip to the US since Donald Trump assumed office for 2nd term as President. PM Modi will be among 4 other world leaders on a visit and meet Trump for the second time. He is scheduled to engage in bilateral talks with Trump on Thursday. The discussions cover the various key issues related to defense, energy, trade, security, strategic working, and technological advancement.
PM Modi discusses about Starlink access to India
After PM Modi warm reception in Washington, he met with newly appointed US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. Also, it is expected that PM is likely to meet SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and, who leads the Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
As per Reuters, their conversions consist of discussions about Starlink’s access to the Indian market. Before travel to US, he wrapped the three day visit in France, where he took part in International AI Action Summit. He attends the 14th India-France CEO Forum and discusses with French President Emmanuel Macron.
