UK announces 4-step plan: A Step to end Russia-Ukraine war and commit Peace

On Sunday, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the European nations stand at “crossroads in history” and know that it is time to act, follows the defence summit on Ukraine. UK announces 4-step plan at Lancaster House meeting to end Russia-Ukraine war and ensure its security.

The Prime Minister speaks to journalists after the summit and announces the £1.6 billion finance deal to help Ukraine get 5,000 missiles. Keir Starmer said every country contributes in own way and add that various important steps agreed during a summit.

UK announces 4-step plan for Ukraine

Keir Starmer said, “We will keep the military support flowing and increase economic pressure on Russia to strengthen Ukraine. We agreed that many lasting peace ensure Ukraine’s sovereignty and security. In the case of the peace deal, we will keep boosting Ukraine’s own defensive capabilities to deter future invasions. We will develop the  coalition of the willing to protect deal in Ukraine and ensure peace and security.”

Starmer said, ” Not every country feels able to contribute, but it can’t mean that we sit back. Those willing to plan now with real urgency. The UK is prepared to back this with boots on the ground and planes in the air with others. Europe do heavy lifting, he said.”

UK Aims crossroads in history

After UK announces 4-step plan, Keir Starmer said that the leaders are agreed to “meet again very soon” to continue work on plans. “We are at a crossroads in history today,” he said. Further he added, “This is not moment for more talk. It’s time to act. Time to take a step forward and to unite around a new plan for a just and bring peace.”

The summit followed the support for Zelensky after the communication with Trump in the Oval Office. PM rejects the country that the US is an “unreliable ally.”
