Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) revealed the technology and safety features of the second-gen Venue on Monday. They highlighted major upgrades in connectivity, driver assistance, and structural integrity ahead of its market launch on November 4. Bookings for the Hyundai Venue are now open at Hyundai dealerships and online for a token amount of ₹25,000.
Hyundai Motor Launched Second-Gen Venue SUV
The new compact SUV introduces Hyundai’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system for the first time in India. This system has dual 31.24 cm (12.3-inch) curved panoramic displays that handle both infotainment and driver information. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and allows Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for 20 vehicle controllers.
The Venue will also feature a Bose eight-speaker system, customizable digital interfaces, and voice recognition in five languages: English, Hindi, Hinglish, Bengali, and Tamil. It will support over 400 voice commands and include 70 connected features through Hyundai’s Bluelink platform.
65 advanced safety features, Level 2 ADAS
On the safety front of Hyundai Motor Second-Gen Venue SUV, the new Venue comes with Level 2 ADAS, offering 16 advanced driver assistance features. These features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist. The SUV also includes more than 65 safety features, with 33 available as standard across all variants.
Key features are six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), an Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, four-disc brakes, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS – Highline), an electrochromic mirror with telematics switches, a Surround View Monitor (SVM), and 3-point seatbelts with reminders for all seats.
