The company plans to launch this SUV on Republic Day, January 26, 2026. This is the same Duster that captured the attention of Indian consumers a decade ago with its strength, simplicity, and performance.
Renault India reveals Third-Generation Duster SUV
When the Renault Duster was introduced in India in 2012, the SUV market had limited choices. Its straightforward yet powerful design and affordable price opened the door to the mid-size SUV segment.
The Duster was the right size for Indian families, neither too big nor too small. It started at around ₹7.95 lakh, making it one of the most budget-friendly SUVs of its time. In 2014, the company launched an all-wheel-drive version, but it was taken off the market in 2020 due to new BS6 emission rules.
Strong Return After Five Years
After nearly five years, Renault India is ready to bring back the Duster in a completely new form. The company recently shared a teaser that has increased excitement among SUV fans. The new Duster will hit Indian roads with a totally modern design, new technology, and improved performance.
