Bihar police harassing Brother-Sister
According to the viral videos, the siblings were having dinner when a local police team entered the restaurant for a routine check. One of the officers confronted the man, asking about the woman with him. When the man explained that she was his sister, the officer reportedly responded rudely, leading to a heated exchange.
Eyewitnesses claimed the officer’s tone and behavior were “unnecessarily aggressive,” which caught the attention of other diners. Videos show the upset duo confronting the officer, while the other police remained silent.
Public shame on police
Social media users have condemned the incident, accusing the Bihar police of overstepping their authority and lacking basic sensitivity. One user commented, “In India, police officers should first be trained on how to behave and communicate with common people.” Another stated, “He doesn’t have the authority to question the boy about the girl’s identity. The officer’s ego was hurt when the boy answered politely.”
Many highlighted the need for transparency in law enforcement, arguing that this incident shows why body cameras are essential for on-duty officers.
