Bajinder Singh, the debatable self-styled Christian pastor, is in the news once more. A video, showing Singh assaulting a man and woman in his office, has long past viral on social media.
The video, shared by journalist Gagandeep Singh on X, suggests Bajinder Singh throwing a mobile phone at a man before hitting him with a handbag. He then slaps the man in front of other office staff. The video further shows Singh attacking a woman who’s visible with an children. Other available in the room intrude, leading to a heated altercation between the girl and the pastor.
Who is Bajinder Singh?
Bajinder Singh was born in 1982 in Haryana. Originally from a Hindu Jat family, Singh converted to Christianity over a decade in the past while serving a jail sentence for an alleged murder case. Following his launch, he established ‘Church of Glory and Wisdom’ in 2016, that unexpectedly elevated throughout Punjab and beyond.
Singh won prominence through claims of mind-blowing healing, affirming he need to treat diseases with cancer and AIDS. His sermons, regularly accompanied by track ‘Mera Yeshu Yeshu,’ have garnered him a huge following on social media platforms, consisting of tens of millions of subscribers on YouTube and Instagram.
Bajinder controversies and legal cases
Despite his reputation, Singh has been embroiled in several controversies. In 2018, he was arrested on costs of raping a women from Zirakpur, Punjab, under the pretext of providing her travel opportunities abroad.
In February 2025, a 22-year-old girl accused Bajinder Singh of sexual harassment, stalking, and crook intimidation, alleging misconduct that started while she was 17 and a part of his worship team. Singh has denied these allegations, claiming they’re part of a conspiracy orchestrated by rival pastors.
