Gender Segregation allegations Against University Administration
According to a notice that went viral, the complainant stated that the university abused its power by enforcing gendered seating, creating a culture of gender discrimination. Reports indicate that students who spoke out faced intimidation.
The complainant alleges that the public servant misused his authority by enforcing gender segregation in classrooms. This practice prevents male and female students from sitting together and has caused mental distress to those who raised concerns. The complainant further alleges that the institute has intimidated students and their parents to withdraw the complaint,” states the order.
Lokpal Refuses to Act
Despite the complaint on Gender Segregation, Arvind, who shared it on X, says the Lokpal has chosen not to act. This decision has sparked a debate among student rights activists, who argue that the issue deserves investigation due to its impact on campus gender equality and student well-being.
