The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 results today. Applicants who had appeared for the exam can check their results at ctet.nic.in, following which they need to input the application number and date of birth.
In addition to the results, the final answer key for CBSE will be available. The provisional answer key was released on January 1, 2025, and candidates were given time until January 5, 2025, to raise objections.
How to Check CBSE CTET 2024 Results
Check your results using the following steps:
- Visit the official website, ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the link labeled “CTET Result 2024” on the homepage.
- On the redirected page, enter your application number and date of birth.
- Your result will appear on the screen. Download and print it for future reference.
Qualifying Marks
For CTET 2024, a candidate must score 60% of the total 150 marks, which is 90 marks. For candidates belonging to the reserved categories, the passing mark is 55%, which amounts to about 82 marks.
Exam Overview
The CTET December 2024 examination was held on 14th December 2024. There were two shifts in the exam. Paper 1 was from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM for those candidates who are willing to teach classes 1 to 5. Paper 2 was conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM for candidates willing to teach classes 6 to 8.
After qualifying, candidates become eligible to apply for the posts in the schools affiliated to CBSE to achieve an important step towards teaching career goals.
