He gave speech, and reflects on his early years and the influence of his father, Ramesh Tendulkar, a professor and poet, who shaped his outlook on life. He emphasized the importance of patience and discipline, saying, “Success never happens overnight. It takes time.” He urged students to pursue their ambitions while staying true to their values.

Drawing from his experience in international cricket, Sachin Tendulkar highlighted the role of mental discipline and self-awareness. He referred to the often-discussed “zone” and noted that peak performance comes from trusting one’s instincts instead of overthinking. “That zone is about surrendering yourself to your subconscious mind,” he observed.
Speaking about Andhra University’s 100-year legacy, Mr. Tendulkar noted that institutions with strong academic reputations carry higher expectations. “With such an impeccable reputation, the responsibility automatically increases,” he said, encouraging students to uphold values of integrity and commitment.
