Aishwarya Rai Bachchan eagerly anticipated first look from the 2026 Cannes Film Festival has been revealed. Since the festival began on May 12, fans missed the Ponniyin Selvan star, who attending the gala for the 24th time. With her poster not featured in L’Oreal’s branding at Hotel Martinez, many admirers expressed worries about her “left out” of this year’s event.
However, the Queen of Cannes silenced all rumors when she left Mumbai with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan First Look From Cannes
Aishwarya Rai walked the red carpet in a sculpted blue gown with a mermaid finish, designed by Amit Aggarwal, who making his Cannes debut this year. She completed the look with a shiny dupatta.
According to the press release, Amit Aggarwal’s creation, Luminara, revolves around the idea of light in motion for this year’s appearance. The design explores light as not just illumination, but as energy, movement, and force, expressed through sculptural construction and skilled craftsmanship.
Made debut again in Cannes since 2022
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan made their Cannes debut in May 2002 when they presented their film, Devdas, at the festival. Dressed in Neeta Lulla’s canary yellow saree, she walked the red carpet alongside her co-star and director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Her connection with L’Oreal Paris dates back to 2003. Since then, she has walked the Cannes red carpet as the brand’s global ambassador.
