Veteran Kannada actor Bank Janardhan passed away at the age of 77. Popularly by via his stage name, Bank Janardhan, he breathed his remaining on Sunday (April 13) at a private hospital. He was admitted to a Bengaluru health center because of multi-organ headaches. The veteran actor was scuffling with an extended illness. Unfortunately, he succumbed to health headaches last night.

Bank Janardhan had been keeping sick, considering that he suffered a heart attack in 2023. Since then, the veteran actor’s health has reportedly deteriorated through the years. After his death, the closing picture of the veteran actor from the health facility bed surfaced on social media. According to media reviews, he looked frail and had more than one tube connected to his body.
The veteran actor was reputedly hospitalized in Manipal Hospital, where he took his final breath. For the uninitiated, he was widely known for his strong onscreen presence and comic performances. In his career spanning over 4 a long time, he starred in over 500 movies. Bank Janardhan earned appreciation for his performances in films like Anjada Gandu, Putakkana Highway, Tharle Nan Maga, and others. His other first-rate works include Jee Boomba, Ganesh Subramanya, and Kaurava.

Bank Janardhan was born in 1948 in Holalkere, Chitradurga, Karnataka. The veteran actor predominantly worked in the Kannada film industry. He also has a few TV shows, including Paapa Pandu, to his credit. His last appearance was in the K L Rajashekhar directorial Undenama. It had a theatrical release on April 14, 2023.
