Ranbir Kapoor has showed that Brahmastra 2 will “surely happen”. On Thursday, the actor held a meet and greet session with the media employees in Mumbai while he pointed out the sequel of his 2022 blockbuster. Ranbir revealed that in view that Ayan Mukerji is currently busy with War 2, he’s going to start the pre-production of Brahmastra 2 after the Hrithik Roshan starrer hits theatres.
Ranbir Kapoor gave major update about Brahmastra 2
“Brahmastra 2 is something that Ayan has been nurturing as a dream for a very long term. He is currently working on War 2. Once this releases, he’s start pre-production of Brahmastra 2. It is truely going on. We haven’t genuinely announced a much of it however then a few virtually thrilling bulletins (may be made quickly) concerning Brahmastra 2,” Ranbir stated.
Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released in theatres on September 9, 2022. The movie was the first time that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt shared the screen. The Ayan Mukerji directorial also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan also made a unique appearance in the movie. It was broadly loved by all and earned close to Rs 400 crore on the box office.
In April 2023, Ayan Mukerji issued a declaration and revealed the release date of Brahmastra Part 2: Dev and Brahmastra Part 3. He announced that the second part of his movie can be released in December 2026, while the third and final component will hit theatres a year later i.E in 2027.
Filmmaker confident about film
The filmmaker also confident that Brahmastra 2 and 3 might be ‘bigger’ than the first part and delivered that he might be making the 2 movies together. “After soaking up all the love and feedback on Part 1…I were centered on creating the vision for Part Two and Part Three – which I know may be larger and more ambitious than Part One!” a part of his announcement study. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor also has Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War in his pipeline.
