Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, who got married in 2023, welcomed their baby girl, SaraayahMalhotra, in 2025. In a recent conversation, Kiara talked about parenting Saraayah. She also shared her hopes for raising her daughter and the lessons she wants her to learn about relationships and modern dating.

Reflecting on her own upbringing, Kiara shared that she grew up seeing her parents as “each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend” before they married and had children. “Subconsciously, I felt like that is how it has to be,” she said. For a long time, she believed every relationship would naturally lead to marriage.
However, Kiara noted that her perspective changed over time. “All those relationships in your life that you have growing up teach you something. They eventually shape who you are,” she explained.
Teach her how to handle today’s men
Because of this, Kiara Advani revealed she does not want her daughter to have fixed ideas about love, marriage, or relationships. “I don’t want her to feel like she has to only date one person,” she said. “If you want to get married, get married. If you don’t, don’t.”
She emphasized that she wants Saraayah to make her own choices without feeling pressure from society. “I would like to raise her in a way that allows her to make choices for herself,” Kiara shared.
