35-year-old TV actor Nitin Chauhaan famous, for his role in Indian TV shows, was found dead in his flat. The police investigation suggests that he was diagnosed with depression. Chauhaan had been reported to struggle with his mental health for years.
His wife said he had no work for the past 3-4 years. That long period of unemployment worsened his mental health problems. More desperate than ever to keep his family afloat, he decided to start an ice cream business. But that failed too, and his wife complained to the police.
Tragedy Struck when Chauhaan’s wife took their young daughter to the garden. On returning she found the apartment door to be locked from inside, though it had happened several times before that she had rung the bell a few times without an answer. However, today her knocks went unanswered and her calls for help were not heard. The door was opened forcible. She saw her husband lying motionless on the floor.

He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors said he was dead on arrival. The police say they suspect no foul play yet, but they are going ahead with their investigation.
