Hyderabad Police Seize Over 7 Tonnes of Illegally Ripened Mangoes

H-FAST officials conducts the raid at various locations and recently raid fruit warehouse in Asif Nagar, Hyderabad. It uncovered the illegal use of ethylene for ripening mangoes. During this, authorities seized about 7 tonnes of mangoes in warehouse.

As per the H-FAST CI Ranjith, the mangoes were

  • Stored in large quantities for market supply
  • Ripened with ethylene
  • Prepared for distribution in Hyderabad markets

So, it raise the serious health and safety concerns for people.

7 Tonnes of Mangoes Seized 

During the mango raid in Asif Nagar in Hyderabad, Authorities seized around 7 tonnes of mangoes. They also found around 350 trays in the warehouse. Each tray has 20 kgs of fruit. The large quantity shows significant supply operations.
