Surat Fake Ghee Factory Bust in Raid, Authorities Seize Goods Worth Over ₹36 Lakh

Major raid operations conducts at Surat Ghee Factory. The officials seized the materials worth over Rs 36 lakh. The raid carried by Surat Special Operations Group and arrested the Bharat Polara and Amin Vadhvaniya.

The illegal operation was reportedly making adulterated ghee and selling it at low prices in slum areas, grocery stores, highway hotels, and nearby districts to make illegal profits.

Seized goods worth 36 lakh

During the operation, authorities found ghee valued at Rs 14,19,960, along with machinery, raw materials, and cash.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajdeepsingh Nakum confirmed the arrests and seizures. He said that a case has been filed and investigations are ongoing. This crackdown marks an important step against food adulteration in the region.
