“Over the years, I had the chance to take on different responsibilities—from leading as Sales Head for MX India to serving as SOP Head for India, where we focused on building and improving sustainable processes.
The excitement grew when I was given the task of turning around the Consumer Electronics division for four years. More recently, since 2022, I worked on driving the MX business forward in a more competitive environment,” he wrote.
What is behind resignation?
“As I move forward, I carry immense gratitude—for the mentors who guided me, my colleagues who became friends, and the teams that made this journey meaningful. Thank you, Samsung, for being such an important part of my life,” he added.
Samsung has recently lost overall market leadership to Vivo, a Chinese company. However, it still ranks as one of the top two players in total volumes and in the premium segment, where it competes closely with Apple.
