Operation Sindoor is center of the 79th Independence Day celebrations that led through Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Red Fort today. Multiple officers instrumental in the operation are on the annual military honour rolls.
Independence Day marks Naya bharat theme
PM Modi unfurled the national flag before handing over the address to the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort.
The theme of this year’s celebrations is ‘Naya Bharat’ and the celebrations serve as a platform to commemorate the maintaining a rich, stable and ambitious New India, the authorities has said.
