Aamir Khan has appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the nation on Monday, May 12. The official page of the actor’s production house, Aamir Khan Productions, shared a note on social media with which he not only expressed gratitude to the IAF and also thanked PM Modi for his leadership.
“Saluting the heroes of Operation Sindoor. Heartfelt gratitude to our militia for their bravery and unwavering dedication to the security of our state. Thank you to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for his leadership and resolve. Jai Hind,” the note read. The was post captioned with a folded hands emoji.

Aamir Khan’s announcement comes at a time when India and Pakistan have agreed to maintain a ceasefire. For the unversed, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 26 people, such as 25 Indians and a Nepali citizen. The operation centered 9 terrorist group sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to dismantle terror networks. In reaction, Pakistan launched a barrage of artillery fire, drones, and missile attacks on multiple locations in India. They even violated the ceasefire.

Upcoming Film, Sitaare Zameen Par Trailer Delayed
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan had also introduced the delayed of the trailer launch for his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par following tensions between India and Pakistan. It was to start with scheduled for May 8. New date for the trailer release event has not been announced as of now.
