Bihar Hospital doctors in the district are on strike due to an incident that took place on Thursday. NBT Online has the video, which the victim’s doctor provided to the media. This incident started on Thursday, February 12th.
Following the District Magistrate’s orders, nursing homes, ultrasound centers, and pathology labs in the district are inspected. District Magistrate Vinod Duhan has set up two raiding teams to take action against labs that do not meet standards.
ADM slaps Bihar Hospital during raid
The ADM was the first to slap the doctor. One raiding team was led by ADM Dr.Rambabu. His team went to Bachpan Neo and Child Hospital on Forbesganj Referral Road in Araria district for an investigation. Here, accusations and counter-accusations arose between the hospital management and the raiding team.
The ongoing argument can be seen in the video. Allegedly, a fight broke out between the two groups. During this altercation, ADM Dr.Rambabu slapped Dr. Deepak Kumar, which led to a scuffle.
What does Dr. Deepak do after got slapped?
Dr. Deepak Kumar, director of Bachpan Neo & Child Hospital and a resident of Kursakanta, also works as Chief Medical Officer at the Nirmali Sub-Divisional Hospital in Supaul district. He claimed that members of the raiding team mistreated him and started a physical attack.
He mentioned that the entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras in the hospital. However, he admitted that he and his staff engaged in physical force in self-defense.
