Explosion occurs, police investigating scene
Teams from the NIA and Odisha Police are analyzing the visuals and other evidence collected from the site. Officials are reviewing the CCTV footage and gathering additional evidence to determine the cause of the blast and whether a larger conspiracy was involved.
While Odisha Police leads the primary investigation, the NIA has ramped up its inquiry because of the severity of the blast and the suspected terror connection. NIA teams have examined the site and taken samples of soil and debris for forensic testing. The collaboration between central and state agencies suggests that investigators are looking into whether this case extends beyond local crime and poses a larger security threat.
