The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport acquired a bomb threat through E mail on Sunday, prompting the security officials to launch search operations at the venue. The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the airport said that bomb disposal squads were deployed right away upon receiving the Bomb Threat to Trivandrum Airport, and thorough inspections of all terminals are under investigation.
The threat follows a series of bomb threats received via multiple hotels in the country capital, Thiruvananthapuram, only a day in advance, as per officers.
