The Delhi Police have dismantled a counterfeit toothpaste manufacturing operation in outer Delhi’s Khanjawala area, a senior official announced. Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a Mahaveer Vihargodown and seized a large amount of fake toothpaste and related materials. The items seized included empty tubes, packaging materials, adhesive tapes with brand names, and raw materials.

Six workers were found filling locally made paste into tubes of a well-known brand, according to the officer. The operation, led by 58-year-old Hari Om Mishra from Rohini, ran without a license. In total, around 1,800 filled fake tubes and over 10,000 empty tubes were discovered, along with 130 kg of paste. A case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.
