India Deployed advanced Jammers systems with its western border to disrupt the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals that are used by Pakistani army planes. It disrupts their navigation and strike skills, sources said. The pass comes after India closed its airspace to all Pakistani-operated flights effective from April 30 to May 23.
The Indian jamming systems are able to disrupts with various satellite TV for PC-based navigation platforms, including GPS (US), GLONASS (Russia), and Beidou (China) – all of which are used by Pakistani army craft.
Why India Deployed advanced Jammers
The deployment is designed to affects Pakistan’s situational cognizance, targeting accuracy, and the effectiveness of precision-guided munitions in the course of any potential warfare or incursion they introduced.
The flow comes amid rising tensions between the two countries after the April 22 attack in Pahalgam in which 26 people died. Days later, India issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) proscribing its airspace, effective from April 30 to May 23, to all aircraft registered, operated, or leased by Pakistan – together with air services and navy flights.
Pakistani aircraft navigation systems Blocked
The NOTAM was issued shortly after Pakistani companies had already started rerouting to keep away from Indian airspace because of concerns over the potential of Indian retaliation, officials said. With the limit now formalized, Pakistani Airways are pressured to take longer and courses over Chinese or Sri Lankan airspace to get access to Southeast Asian towns, including Kuala Lumpur.
The airspace closure is part of a sequence of retaliatory measures taken by India Deployed advanced Jammers. India had also suspends the Indus Waters Treaty and revoked visas of Pakistani nationals. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) with a fleet of 32 planes, is expected to be affected. Many of Pakistan’s flights to Southeast Asia and the Far East will now be extended by 1 to 2 hours.
