The Indian Army killed 2 terrorists in Baramulla, Jammu, and Kashmir following a heavy fire. The Operation successfully foiled an infiltration attempt through the terrorists.

The Chinar Cops-Indian Army X took care of in a post showed the Operation. The post said, “Heavy change of fire among security forces and terrorists, two terrorists were eliminated, infiltration bid foiled by the safety forces in the ongoing Operation. Large amount of guns, ammunition and different battle-like stores were recovered from the terrorists. Operation is in progress.”

According to Chinar Cops, on Wednesday, about 2–3 unidentified terrorists attempted to infiltrate by the general place of Sarjeevan at Uri Nala, Baramulla. Alert troops at the Line of Control challenged and intercepted them, resulting in a fierce firefight.

This action comes only a day after a terror attack at Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 people around 2:30 pm on Tuesday. The Resistance Front, a nearby offshoot of Pakistan- based Lashkar-e-Taiba, has taken duty for the carnage.

Eyewitnesses described harrowing scenes as gunfire rang out in the open grassland, sending travelers scrambling for protection. “There become no place to cover,” one survivor stated, recounting the chaos.

Amit Shah Travel to J& K To Oversee Pahalgam attack

After Indian Army killed 2 terrorists, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and cut his visit of Saudi Arabia. Home Minister Amit Shah, after the attack, referred to it as an high-level security assembly and will travel to Pahalgam for a pressing safety overview.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed shock, calling the attack an “abomination.” Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti also condemned the violence, declaring that such acts ought to be denounced. Several top leaders have strongly condemned the attack, expressing their grief and unity with the victims and their families. Security forces have intensified their operations in the place, aiming to track down the perpetrators.
