Husband and wife, with 3 Childrens dead in Kanpur building fire
Despite repeated attempts, fire personnel have been unable to reach the families on the top floor because of thick smoke and the high intensity of the fire. Their bodies recovered early Monday morning. “After the fire became added under control this morning, firefighters located the youngest daughter clinging to her mother’s body,” a official said.
Officials said 30 fire tenders had been deployed, and a State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) group arrived from Lucknow around 2 am. Rescue operations hindered by the slender lanes and dense creation in the place.
Fire Broke out due to short circuit
The construction was occupied by the families of 3 brothers. The deceased person’s brothers and their families lived at the 3rd and 4th floor. Firefighters rescue 4 people from the 3rd ground and three from the 4th by using ladders. However, they were unable to reach the top ground where the victim’s own family lived.
Initial investigations suggest that the Kanpur building fire incident occurs due to an electrical short circuit in a unit working on the floor. The fire quickly engulfed the shape, growing a thick cloud of smoke.
