Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday addressed the Lok Sabha all through the Budget session of Parliament, and marks success of Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. He lauded the massive preparations and seamless execution of the grand arrangements, which witnessed participation from hundreds of thousands of devotees, saints, and travelers from across the world.
“I bow to crores of people of country who contributed to the success of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj,” PM Narendra Modi said, adding that Prayagraj Maha Kumbh shows the spirit of rising India.
Modi appreciates the success of Maha Kumbh 2025
Modi said, “This reflects how robust the sentiment of celebrating our traditions, tradition, and values has become today. Many varieties of nectar have emerged from Maha Kumbh… the nectar of harmony. Maha Kumbh became an event in which people from each place, from each corner of country, got here together as one.”
The high minister, who himself took a holi dip in the Sangam, stated people set apart their egos and, with the spirit of selflessness—embracing the philosophy of “not me, but we”—gathered in Prayagraj. “They became part of the sacred Triveni. There was no difference between huge and small,” Modi stated.
“The power of our solidarity is such that it overcomes each try to divide us. This spirit of solidarity is the best blessing for Indians. At a time while there are divisions in country, this demonstration of togetherness is our greatest power,” he stated in Lok Sabha.
‘900 People missing’: Akhilesh
On Sunday, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that round 900 people who went missing at Maha Kumbh 2025 had been yet to be located and challenged the country government to offer a standing on the matter to their households.
He also took a dig at Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, pronouncing that he wonders whether the authorities had any plans to provide jobs to “4 lakh youths” who were roped in to ferry the pilgrims to the Maha Kumbh on their bikes, as claimed via the CM.
