Punjab Police on Wednesday removed farmers from the Punjab-Haryana Shambhu Border who were sitting on a protest for their demands. Police also eliminated their structures make through farmers at the protest website online. Several farmer leaders including farmer chief Jagjit Singh Dallewal who’s on an indefinite fast and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha chief Sarvan Singh Pandher had been detained by the Police.
Respond to this, Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema stated that the action was taken as they need to open Shambhu and Khanauri borders. Cheema asserted that the farmers need to continue a protest in Delhi or somwhere else as their needs are towards the Central authorities.

“The AAP authorities and the people of Punjab stood with the farmers after they protested in opposition to the three legal guidelines. The demands of the farmers are towards the significant government. It has been more than a year and the Shambhu and Khanauri borders are closed. The youth of Punjab are very dissatisfied. When the traders will do business, the teenagers gets employment and they will stay away from drugs,” he stated.
“Today’s action has been taken because we need the children of Punjab to get employment. We want to open Shambhu and Khanauri borders. The needs of the farmers are against the valuable government and they must continue protest in Delhi or somewhere else however need to now not block the roads of Punjab,” Harpal Cheema said.

Shiromani Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal claimed that Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has lost his mental balance. “Jagjit Singh Dallewal who became on an strike on Punjab-Haryana Shambhu Border has also been detained by the police. During the elections, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann promised that he can fulfil all the demands of the farmers, but after the formation of the government, he’s lying to the farmers. No one is secure in Punjab,” Harsimrat said.
