Padma, who works in T Nagar, discovered a pouch with gold on the street earlier this month. She made sure it got back to the rightful owner through the police.

Padma reported the discovery to her superiors and handed the pouch to the Pondy Bazaar police. After checking the ownership, the police returned the valuables. This led to widespread admiration for Padma’s integrity from various parts of society.

Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin also recognized Padma’s honesty. He celebrated her deeds and gave her a cheque for Rs 1 lakh, further emphasizing how significant her actions are in the community.
Rajinikanth has a history of acknowledging good behavior among his fans. Recently, he presented a gold chain to Rajini Sekar, a fan from Madurai, who recognized for running an eatery that sells affordable parottas to help the poor.
